TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
